Prayer is an important part of our walk with God. It is the way we communicate with Him, seek His will for our lives and listen for His guidance, as well as express our needs, concerns and desires to Him. Jesus commanded us to pray (see Matthew 6:9ff), Paul encouraged us to pray (See Philippians 4:6), and God rewards those who pray (see Psalm 34:17). As a result, Avalon continues to pursue developing prayer in the lives of all who seek a deeper relationship with Jesus.

Prayer Chain
A vital part of our church, our Prayer Chain is made up of a group of dedicated people, connected by email, who are committed to praying for those who are in need (both ongoing needs and crisis type needs - including physical, emotional and spiritual). As the request goes out, these prayer warriors are on their knees asking for God to meet the need(s) in a way only He can.
